Ink Master x YETI brings together the diverse artistic styles the show is known for, applying them to tumblers and packaging to better connect with the artistic community. The goal of this project was to expand the tumbler collection with more varied design options while also creating social media content to increase visibility and engagement. The design inspiration came from studying tattoo artists’ flash art across different styles. Among these, American Traditional and Japanese Traditional stand out as two of the most widely recognized. The first tumbler and box draw from American Traditional flash sheets, incorporating bold colors, floral elements, and classic patterns to capture the essence of the style. For the second tumbler and box, the approach shifts to Japanese Traditional influences. Because Japanese flash sheets are less common, this design instead mimics the look and flow of a Japanese arm tattoo, translating its composition and visual storytelling onto the product. The most challenging aspect of the project was the detailed illustration work required for each design, as capturing the authenticity and intricacy of these tattoo styles demanded a high level of precision and creativity.
